Starry Night Snowman

45.00

These pieces have a starry night background I painted with acrylic paint.  The trees are made from split branch slices.  The moon and snowman are made from black willow and American elm pieces.  The hill is made from a spalted piece of box elder.  The edges and back are painted black and the back is key-holed for easy hanging

Hanging tip.  Although the keyhole is centered, it may want to hang crooked because it is heavier on one side than the other.  But don't worry, it's simple to fix.  Use the enclosed screw and a plastic wall anchor to hang.  The wall anchor allows you to adjust how far the screw sticks out from the wall.  You want to have the screw sticking out from the wall just far enough so that the screw is a tight fit in the keyhole slot.  If you can't get the piece to slide onto the screw, you need to back the screw out a bit.  If you can rattle the piece against the wall, you need to tighten the screw a little.  With a little tinkering you'll have it hung so never need to adjust it.
