Firewood Candle Holder

My firewood candle holders are 16" long and 3-4" in diameter....more or less.  All are sanded silky smooth, sealed with a satin finish and guaranteed to be splinter free.  They use standard tea lights and come with one set so you can enjoy it right out of the box.  They come with 3, 4 or 5 holes for candles.  Your choice.

Won't the wood catch fire?  I get this question all the time and it's a fair question.  But the answer is no, the candle holder won't catch fire.  The melted wax in the tea light cup is only around 160 degrees.  Paraffin has a flash point of 395 degrees. That means that at 395 degrees that pool of liquid wax either catches on fire, or explodes into a splattery burning mess.  You've probably never seen that happen because candles don't get that hot.   For wood to burn, it needs to get to 451 degrees...56 degrees hotter than than you can get that pool of wax.
